This is my final front cover. As you can see it has differed greatly from previous drafts. I decided to use more text asfrom my feedback people suggested that it needed more context in order to attract my target audience. Additionally I added a strap line at the bottom the the magazine with text in front of it- I changed the opacity to 80% so you can see the text through- I believe this is quite effective.
Also i situated the logo to the left hand corner of the magazine so it is easily recognizable. I have used the colours of Green,yellow,blue,black and white throughtout the cover and wish to continue this onto the contents page. I changed a few of the headline's type of font as i believed it looked too busy on the front cover- so i simplified the effects and overall font. Though, in the headlines I made sure that certain words stand out, I did this by underlining words or making them bold as shown.
In terms of the title- After i found the most suitable type of font I thought it needed to stand out more to the reader. I added a white effect to the text and believe it looks more attractive- Also it would be suitable for my target audience which is school children at Wilmington school.
