As you can see, I have started my front cover. I have used the quick selection tool to cut the picture out without the background as this is not needed. I have positioned my picture and decided it looks best to the right then I will be able to put text around it. I have placed the title on the top of the magazine but have not decided which font will be suitable yet- Therefore I will go onto www.dafont.com and find a suitable text for the title. As you can see from the background i have used a gradient so the yellow background comes through; then I filled the rest of the background with a light blue colour which is the schools' colours. I intend to use the colours yellow, blue, green, black and white for the magazine- I hope to stick to these throughout the contents also. I will carry on adding texts around the picture and also positioning certain parts differently.
